Job Description

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs for the Company's complete and diverse marine solutions integration aftersales portfolio, covering main engines of low to medium speed (2-stroke) and high speed (4-stroke), gensets, propulsion systems including outboard/inboard motors, waterjets, etc.
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media, reaching out to shipyards, ship owners and ship management clientele.
  • Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns, including servicing and maintenance contracts.
  • Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data.
  • Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations.
  • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences.
  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve better results.
  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams.
  • Perform other assigned tasks or duties as needed.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate has a proven track record in after sales for diverse marine portfolio, from engines, genset, to propulsion. He/she has strong business acumen and network for potential after sales prospects, and is able to work effectively individually, collaborating with other teams.
