At Walters People, we are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Supply Chain Administrator to join a multinational corporation operating in the consumer goods industry. They have a diverse portfolio of products, ranging from personal care items to household goods. With a global presence, the client's supply chain is vast and complex, involving multiple manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, and retail partners worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for logistics partners regarding orders and deliveries
- Analyze and improve supply chain processes
- Forecast future demand to prevent surplus and shortages
- Manage inbound and outbound transportation flows
- Organize storage and inventory management
- Coordinate customer supply and expectations
- Collaborate with production to align with demand
- Generate reports
Profile:
- High level of Dutch is required, more languages are a plus
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Supply Chain & Logistics
- Full-time availability (32-40 hours per week)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Hands-on, decisive, and proactive approach. Ability to think creatively, provide solutions, and achieve positive results for all stakeholders
- Enjoy contributing to the success of the company and the supply chain, utilizing your entrepreneurial spirit, initiative, and can-do mentality
- Team player who enjoys getting to know colleagues personally
- Proficient in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Exact Online is a plus
