Are you a highly skilled and experienced professional in managing and organizing a private household? We have an exciting opportunity for a Family Manager to join an English-speaking family based in southern Uppsala.
Position Details:
- Workdays: Mondays and Fridays
- Shift Duration: 6-8 hours per shift, starting in the morning
- Monthly Hours: 48-64 hours
Responsibilities:
As a Family Manager, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our household. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including:
- Impeccable Housekeeping: Ensuring our home is clean and immaculate.
- Laundry Expertise: Managing all aspects of laundry, including washing and ironing.
- Recycling and Waste Management: Efficiently handling recycling and disposing of waste.
- Closet and Cabinet Organization: Skillfully organizing wardrobes and cabinets.
- Expert Clothing Folding: Precisely folding and arranging clothing items.
- Garage and Storage Organization: Masterfully organizing our garage and storage spaces.
- Coordination of Tradespeople: Effectively managing and coordinating any required tradespeople.
- Childcare or Nanny Coordination: Assisting with childcare or overseeing the activities of a nanny.
- Errand Assistance: Occasionally running errands on our behalf.
- Occasional Cooking: Demonstrating culinary prowess by preparing meals when needed.
- Additional Support: Providing extra assistance during our travels or when either of us is away.
- House Sitting: Ensuring the safety and security of our home while we are absent.
Requirements:
- Fluent English: You must be highly proficient in spoken and written English.
- Professional Household Experience: Extensive experience in professionally managing and organizing a private household.
- Exemplary Attention to Detail: Meticulous in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication is essential.
- Independent and Proactive: Demonstrating initiative and the ability to work independently.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Willingness to accommodate occasional schedule changes.
